This Cookies Policy explains how eco Grade uses cookies and similar browser storage when you visit or sign in to our platform. It is intended to describe our current technical use of cookies and should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
At this stage, we use cookies and local browser storage only for essential and functional purposes: keeping signed-in users authenticated and remembering the interface language selected by the user or detected from the browser.
We do not currently use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking cookies, or third-party analytics cookies for profiling users. If that changes, this policy and the applicable consent choices will be updated.
Cookies and storage we use
session_id: Used after login to keep a user authenticated and to protect access to account, marketplace, seller, and buyer areas. This cookie is necessary for the service requested by signed-in users.
eco-grade-ui-locale: Used to remember the language preference for the interface, such as English, Spanish, German, or French. This preference may be stored in a first-party cookie and in local browser storage so the site can open in the selected language on future visits.
We may also use strictly necessary security or infrastructure mechanisms provided by our application or hosting environment where required to deliver the platform safely.
Why we use them
To keep users signed in securely while they use the platform.
To remember the user interface language and avoid asking the user to choose it again on each visit.
To provide core platform functionality requested by the user.
